A ticketing experience built for Theatres & Performing Arts

Whether you’re offering tickets for theatre, opera, dance or film, you can now optimise your ticket sales and allow your users to find the best seats easily — all in an accessible way.

Increase your ticket sales with dedicated features

    Seated and standing events

There are few examples of seat maps done right, but we believe Skyway is one of them. Access seats, partially obstructed seats and premium seats, all can be displayed with ease. What’s more, with Skyway, you can offer your users “view-from-seat” functionality, as well as an extra short checkout process for standing-only events.

    Rich production pages

We believe that production pages should reflect the energy and atmosphere of each production, which is why using Skyway, you’ll be able to build on top of existing functionality to create even more immersive experiences for your users. You can display images, galleries, videos and embed social content and playlists. Skyway also lets you connect pretty much anything to a production — from people, products, event recordings, blog articles and more.

    Busy on-sale management

Skyway is highly scalable, meaning that any individual part of the application that is experiencing a high load (for example, during a busy on-sale) can be scaled automatically and independently. Previous load testing has shown that Skyway is able to handle as many — if not more — concurrent users as Tessitura, meaning that it will never be the weakest link in your setup. Skyway is also fully integrated with Queue-It, allowing each organisation to control the influx of users as required.

    Venue and room hire

Whether it’s a simple form to submit or a complex system of requirement gathering and availability slots, Skyway can automate venue and room hire processes as much (or little) as needed. In making these processes as efficient and easy-to-use as possible, Skyway can help you increase your revenue while decreasing the administrative burden on your staff.

An access scheme which users were struggling to take full advantage of

The Old Vic allows access users to pick any seat which best suits their requirements at a flat rate. Access users are now able to toggle between an ‘access’ and ‘default’ view of the seat map — allowing them to quickly find their preferred seat. Special icons denote which are the best seats for captions, audio descriptions, and BSL interpretation, as well as highlighting wheelchair spaces and companion seats.

A purchase path which wasn’t able to handle the changing requirements of an organisation embracing virtual performances

Previously, staff at The Old Vic would have to contact users booking their popular Zoom performances manually, in order to be able to send the correct Zoom links to the correct email addresses. Skyway solves this problem by asking users for the correct email addresses at the point of booking, reducing the time staff had to spend chasing customers. This made the process much smoother for customers.
